1.5 oz Misunderstood Ginger Spiced Whiskey
3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz lemongrass syrup (Monin suggested)
1/2 oz coconut liqueur
1 basil leaf
1 egg white or 3 tbsp aquafaba
Combine all ingredients in a shaker and dry-shake (no ice) for 10 seconds. Add ice and shake again until well-chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe.
