Professor Plum
1.5 oz misunderstood ginger spiced whiskey
1.5 oz black plum dark Maple syrup
black plum slices for garnish
Add ingredients to a shaker with ice, shake until chilled and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with fresh slices of plum.
Black Plum Maple Syrup: Heat 1 cup water, 2 sliced black plums and 1 oz dark maple syrup in a small saucepan until plums have softened (about 20 min). Break plums up with a muddler and strain syrup through a mesh strainer, using a spoon to extract all the liquid. Allow to cool.
