Ginger Spiced Cider

2 oz misunderstood ginger spiced whiskey

1/4 oz lemon juice

1/2 oz brown sugar syrup

1 oz fresh mulled apple cider

dash of angostora bitters

Rosemary, nutmeg, Apple slices for Garnish

 

Shake all ingredients with ice until chilled.  Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with apple, rosemary, and fresh grated nutmeg.

*Note - this can be made as a hot cocktail as well! Use hot mulled cider and combine  Misunderstood, cider, lemon juice together in a mug. Garnish with fresh nutmeg, apple slices, and rosemary. No need for the bitters.
